Drink more than you think you require.  If the body is dehydrated it will work harder, urine should be straw coloured.  Any darker and liquids need to be increased.

Where is the water pooling?  If your lower legs and ankles are swollen get them 'up' and see your GP.

Hi CKLD,

My tummy area, feel bloated. So does drinking more than you need result in peeing more out? I feel this should be obvious but just double checking.. lol!

What makes you think your bloated tummy is water retention and not gas? Just curious

Bloating can be hormonally linked.  I suffered prior to each period. So much so that I was unable to keep a skirt zipped up after lunch time  :(.  Once the bleed began it eased.

Being fully hydrated relaxes the kidneys so that they don't have to work as hard/often.

Have U measured your waist during the day?
