Tablets vs patches
« on: November 30, 2022, 09:30:10 PM »

Hi ladies.
So I’ve struggled on with Femoston Conti for 4 months and am feeling terrible. I have heartburn, bleeding, nausea and diarrhoea. I’m wondering if the patches are easier on your digestive tract? My GP reluctant to give me patches but I can’t go on like this. I was moved to the conti to stop excessive bleeding but I now bleed lightly almost constantly. Totally fed up xx

Most definitely yes. That is one of the indications for changing to patches: https://www.menopausematters.co.uk/route.php

Please go back to your doc and insist and they won;t play ball then go to someone else in the prctice - it is your right to have the HRT you need and which gives you the max benefit for the least side effects.

Good luck
