Does your doctor up the dose because he/she ain't knowledgeable about HRT  :-\

Brain fog is common in pregnancy and again in peri-menopause.

My Dr actually said that they are going above and beyond for me as it is... Normally they don't give about 100mg

Hello,
This random stutter, not being able to get words out is something I struggle with every now and again. It seems to be just before I start a breakthrough bleed.
I'm on 100 mg utrogestan vaginally daily and 2 pumps estrogel so shouldn't be having bleeds at all.
Interestingly I also get auras or silent migraines at this time too.

I'm still trying to work out if the stutter and auras are due to the utrogestan or estrogel but I do know they happen before a blush, spotting or bleed.

Does anyone know what causes this please?

That wasn't a helpful thing for your Dr to say to you.

Felix I don’t actually know what causes it but I get it at the same time as you. I suspect it’s the drop in hormones that triggers it x

Lisa,
Perinowpost said this happened to her previously when her period was due and it happens to me (sometimes) before I get a break through bleed.
You said you now longer have you womb but maybe the stutter is caused by which ever hormone,  either progesterone or estrogen, that is dominant just before bleeding.
Just a thought, I hope you get sorted soon.

Thank you Perinowpost, yes I feel you are right. Do you know which hormone drops or which increases before a bleed/ period that might help explain it. 🤔
