I wondered if it was the ingredients in the patch which was making me feel so bad.

Then I get worried what if I need more HRT to feel good?

So now i am not sure whether to try and stop the HRT or increase. Problem is the diazapam is also a key player here.

Diazapam is usually something temporary or taken on a bad day isnt it? I wonder if it may be worth trying to taper that before you try anything else.

I have a lot to taper due to errors made (not by me)

I remember when you first joined and listed the medications you are on. Did you notice your mood became lower when you started evorel conti? It would be difficult to know if it is that or that combined with the other medications you are on. If it were me I would focus on tapering off diazepam and try not to think of anything else right now. That in itself will take time and thinking of it all in one go will be overwhelming for you.

Thank you Flossie
I would not like to think that the HRT is the thing that is making my withdrawal so difficult.
It's a tough one to call.

I imagine anxiety and low mood is something you have had to battle with for a long time. I feel your GP has really neglected you. Do you feel able to make a tapering plan to reduce the diazapam? I would do it as slowly as possible.

I have a tapering plan but cant really seem to get started on it as my mood keeps dropping really low. That is why I am wondering if I would have a better chance off the HRT.

I can see what you mean. I feel you need more guidance on this. Can you ask to see a specialist? You have the low mood that could be hormonal as well as the low mood that could be due to multiple medications.

What kind of specialist was that and what did they say? I am sorry you did not find them helpful.
