Started over 10 years ago and gradually got worse, definitely worse the last few months, which ties in with increased oestradiol levels when changed HRT…. Hope the HRT hasn’t made it worse as it is driving me mad!

It's so interesting as according to some medical studies low estrogen levels can cause tinnitus;

You say it has got worse since you changed hrt, what did you change from and to if you don't mind me asking.

Looking back, tinnitus was possibly my first peri symptom (in my early 40’s) It’s got worse since starting HRT, sadly, but if that’s the worst thing that happens I’ll take it!

yes tinnitus can be quite a common peri symptom.

its interesting you say its got worse since starting hrt as usually hrt is meant to help.
are you still in peri by the way x
