I thought that you had already begun a similar query ?  If you keep making new threads, any replies may well be lost.  More threads won't necessarily mean more responses.

Hi Nik2502,

I've never used 50's patches before, I've always used one 25 and cut the other 25 patch in half, much easier but my estraderm mx 25 aren't in stock so I had to have mx50's.

I'm needing to cut the 50 patch in half and then quarter the other half so I'd be wearing a half and a quarter which would be 37.5mcg xxx

Hi

Wouldn’t it be easier just to cut a fifth off one patch?

Hi Nik2502.

I've actually found a document from the national library of medicine regarding cutting transdermal patches, so I'll follow that.

I just wanted to be sure, but i really appreciate your help and advice.

I'm just keen to get a consistent reliable dose everytime as I know that in turn will help my other symptoms.

I hope you're doing okay and if I can ever help you in anyway please let me know

all the best xxxx

Hi

I actually measure mine when I cut them!
Then I know I’ve got them exact.

I’m so so. Low mood and anxiety still haunting me.

Happy to help where I can and thank you for your offer - I might just take it up!

If anxiety is a problem do discuss with your GP about anti-anxiety medication.  Why struggle  :-\. HRT isn't always the cure all.  Some anti-depressant medications can ease anxiety.  Life is too short to believe that 'one regime fits all'.
