Hi ladies , have been on elleste duet 2mg for 4 years, but last 3months periods have been 31 days then 26 days .Having more Hot flushes very emotional, knees aching, headache feeling low
Rang doctors to see if they could help ,had a call back it was the pharmacy told him what was wrong and said to take evorel conti but it say for those who have not had a period in a year is this the right  one to have ?
Have put one on hoping it will work

Hi how old are you ( if you don’t mind me asking)?

The advice is that you can try a Conti hrt after you’ve been on Sequi for a year, but you might get bleeding still if your body isn’t ready for a Conti regime.

If your symptoms are coming back it’s likely that you need more oestrogen so would need to change to gel or patch. x

Hi Dotty , I'm 53 have been  perimenopause  for 9 years, so was not sure if I was going in to the menopause pharmacy did say we could try something else if didn't work .
Just had enough of feel unwell

Is it Evorel Conti patches they’ve advised? Or Elleste Duet Conti tablets ?X

You may find you absorb more through a patch but if you need more oestrogen you’d need to change to gel or an oestrogen only patch … both with a separate progesterone.
