I am never able to get my patches not wrinkling. I think it is when we move our skin moves with the patch. Do you use Tegaderm dressings? I ask as when I was researching, they were the only ones I could find that were recommended as they are breathable.

Hi Flossieteacake.

I've just ordered some. I have been using megadore dressing from my local pharmacist as she says they are breathable, however I would rather use the tegaderm ones just to be certain xxx

I just tried to look those dressings up and could not find anything about them and HRT patches. Perhaps it is best you are going to get Tedgaderm dressings just to be certain.

I had spelt the name wrong. Oops. I then found some people saying they use them for HRT. One search linked to this forum actually. I am not sure if they are okay or not though.

Yes it will be as they are small. I use that size and over lap them as I am on Evorel and they are bigger.

Thanks Flossieteacake.

I may have got them confused with Estradot then. I know one of them is tiny Perhaps Estraderm are the same size as Evorel.

Just wondered Flossie,

It is okay to change where I put my patch from my tummy back to my bottom, as the info I gave you from that hrt website said that:

It is important to keep in mind that you should not rotate between abdomen and buttocks or abdomen and thigh, as absorption is 20% higher on the buttocks and thigh than it is on the abdomen.

I take that to mean do not put the patch on the abdomen at all. I guess changing from one to the other may give you a bit more oestrogen at first but should settle. I would just put it on your bottom and that should be fine.

Ok Flossieteacake, thank you; I was putting it on my tummy maybe that was the issue.

Thank you again xxx
