Cutting Patches
«

Hi everyone,
I've just had an interesting discussio with my super pharmacist.
She told me that cutting patches makes them ineffective. She said that when they need to destroy patches they cut them.
I was a bit surprised as I've been cutting mine since 13th September.
Does anyone know if this is correct?
Thanks xxx

When I was told by my GP to come off my hrt 2 years ago, she spoke to the pharmacist who said they could be cut, gradually taking larger pieces off every patch change, so you would then have no patch eventually.
I was on evorel conti patches then.
Nowadays I'm back on hrt this time evorel 50 which I cut to make them more like a 37. I've never had any problems.
