*UPDATE* When to worry about bleeding?
« on: October 02, 2022, 08:26:42 PM »

*UPDATE*  woke up this morning with a bloodbath. Even tho it increased a few days ago I haven't bled like that for years. I've searched the forum and there's obviously a lot of posts about bleeding but can't really find anything for this. **

I don't know if I should worry about a change in bleeding patterns?
I'm 51, been on hrt a few months now. Haven't had periods for a year or 2, possibly longer. I'm on estraderm 75 patches, utrogestan tablets and as of a couple of months ago, testogel. The utrogestan I take for 25 days then have a 3 day break, I've noticed in the 3 day break I feel generally more grotty than I usually do and there's a miniscule amount of blood on the loo roll when I wipe. My last 3 day break was a week or so back. But since a  day or 2 back there's quite a bit of blood when I go to the loo. Is this something I should worry about? Not sure why it's suddenly started. I haven't to use a pad, but its there when i go to the loo. I know you have to be careful with the patches and don't know if it's something I should be getting checked out
ASAP.
I'm sick of this constant worry and after 6 months I thought I'd be getting some improvement.

I've been looking at posts on here about bleeding, there are so many different types and causes. I'm going to see how I get on today. I don't know if I need to call the doc or not.

My advice, which is very limited re HRT, would be to definitely get any heavy bleeding checked out with a doctor.
