Its a moderna bivalent - well mine was - no side effects so far apart from a sore arm and slightly swollen glands under that arm https://www.gov.uk/government/news/first-bivalent-covid-19-booster-vaccine-approved-by-uk-medicines-regulator

Ohhh, I’ll have to tell my OH.
He had terrible side effects from the Pfizer one. Said he wasn’t having anymore because of it, but we all know how poorly he was when he caught Covid at the start of it all.
Jesus, I’ve had a battle on my hands, so now, this may change his mind……..no, IT WILL change his mind. 🤨.    ;D

Thanks Taz2,  I had the original covid virus March 2020 and Omicron virus at Christmas so this should booster the immunity of these two. Also had 2 AstraZeneca and Pfizer booster so might as well try this one too.  ;Dr
My Pfizer booster was awful too jillydoll,  I felt more ill than when I actually had covid at Christmas.

Thought the heart inflamation after Moderna was just in young males? I had to have ECG after covid at Christmas due to palpatations that lasted a couple of months.
Its still worrying when a vaccine can cause serious problems sometimes as bad as the actual virus.

Myocarditis/Pericarditis is more prevalent in young males but can happen to others. Most cases occurred within 14 days. Affects 1 in 10,000 people and more likely after the second dose of Spikevax bivalent Omicron original. Some side effects take up to 9-11 days to occur. Taken from the leaflet given out with the vaccination.

I've found that my covid booster arm is much less sore and feels more usable after 48hours but still wouldn't want anyone to touch it.  My flu jab arm much less sore anyway and okay to touch after 48 hours.

This is the first one that's caused a sore arm with me. Quite a few pub friends down with it again for the second time.

My arm was much sorer and tender than with  previous jabs. I also ached all over for 24 hours (starting about 10 hours after getting the jab. This was my first Moderna jab.

Got my booster next Saturday.  It’s difficult when you struggle with health issues every day to have a jab that may make you I’ll ( my last jab made me quite I’ll with high temp) .  I’ve had covid and it wasn’t too bad but was that because I was vaccinated , who knows 🙈.
Il probably have it as I’ve got other problems but not looking forward x
My husband is having his Covid and flu at the same time, nothing seems to touch him

Hi Everyone,
Just a little update.
After 10 days I tested negative and went back to work 2 days later.
I’m still feeling flat and about 5 days after I tested negative the headache returned. It’s over the top of my head and I feel it when I cough, (although I didn’t really get the covid cough), lean forward, sneeze, etc.
My sinuses are also blocked, so I’m using a decongestant. Has anyone else experienced this?
xXx

First time i had covid in March 2020 it was all upper respiratory in my nose, sinuses and ears.  I lost my smell and taste for over a month and then needed two lots of antibiotics as my ears and sinuses then became infected. It also left me with tinnitus but it wasn't permanent.
Your sinuses may now be infected, although the virus has gone.
