Sore itchy skin and scalp
« on: September 12, 2022, 06:35:40 PM »

Hi ladies.

Looking for some advice again please.

I am going mad with constant itching ****ling all over and burning head with dandruff in scalp.

It started with HRT so I stopped it three weeks ago but still ****ling skin when touching off couch as I'm sitting here. I'm only using pea sized amount of local oestrogen it can't be that can it? Thank you for your help.

I would think it is lack of oestrogen. This is what I had before using oestrogen. I know this will not be of any help for you as you are unable to take HRT though.

Thank you Flossieteacake for replying 💐, hope you are getting on ok.

Is there any natural oestrogen to can use for atrophy I wonder? Or could I take red clover with Estriol cream? I have telephone gynaecology apt in 3 weeks but I'll go crazy by then with the ****ling everywhere can't sleep with it  :'(

Thanks so much for your help.

I am so sorry you are going through this. Maybe you could post on the alternative therapies section of the forum and ask there?

I remember being just the same and not being able to sleep. It feels awful.

As oestrogen levels drop the body may become dry: inside and out.  DH has recently stopped using H&S as it was stripping his scalp = itchiness, to Baby Shampoo.
