Utrogestan
« on: September 04, 2022, 07:12:14 AM »

Morning everyone,

I have been on HRT for about two weeks, so very early days I know.

My sleep has been awful, but slowly, (at a snails pace) seems to be improving. I take utrogestan in the morning as I found it was not helping me sleep, quite the opposite in fact.

I'm on 25mcg estraderm patches and 100mg utrogestan orally.

I'm speaking to a nurse on tuesday and I want to ask about taking the utrogestan vaginally rather than orally as the oral route seems to be making me feel absolutely terrible, with my anxiety going through the roof right now.

What I wanted to know was should I give the utrogestan a bit more time orally, I don't want to keep changing my regime as my body won't know where it is?

It's just I feel so terrible at the moment

Thanks xx
