Does the grogginess improve?
« on: September 02, 2022, 05:47:08 AM »

I switched to continuous to see if it would help even out ups and downs a bit.

Previously I’ve used utrogestan 12 days a month vaginally. I tried orally for a few days but found the morning grog v hard work.

If I persevere could it improve?

Wondering if I should return to cyclical.

Hi Clarella

It might! What time do you take it?
If you take it orally now you could try taking it earlier in the evening.

Or revert to taking it vaginally perhaps x

Just before I go to sleep, 9:30/10:00.

But I’ve thought there also may not be enough of a gap with food. Reverting to vaginally I think!

I’ve just switched to continuous too and generally feel quite tired and hard to open my eyes in the morning. I’m hoping it settles but I’ll take feeling a bit groggy over the highs and lows any day. This is only my first  month on continuous. How long have you been doing it for?

I found the grogginess did improve when taking it orally. Orally I've taken 2 x 100 and vaginally only 1 x 100. Vaginally is better I feel, except it gives me stomach cramps and IBS type symptoms. Does anyone else find this? Plus I get breakthrough bleeding with the vaginal route then have to switch back to oral. It's a minefield!!
