You really should not need to get a private appointment for regular licensed HRT. Is there someone else in the practice you can discuss this with - or decide which you would like to try and then ask for it? There is absolutely no reason for you not to try a different progestogen if this one is not suiting you.

Dr Currie has too high a workload at the moment to respond to questions but Women's Health Concern run a similar service so you could try them and then print out their response to take to your GP:

Is it a side effect of the norethisterone; I have looked and not found anything

Tbh it could just be a flare-up of my normal illnesses

I don't have good relationships with hcps generally,  and it stresses me out seeing them
