I know it’s how I feel that counts and evorel 50 are great. I changed to them from sandrena 0.5 as I needed to increase and the patches were available, it was a good move and I feel more me again.

I just don’t understand the maths. I was on sandrena 0.5, which is 0.5mg estradiol a day, the increase would have been to 1mg a day. Instead I am on evorel which is working better than the sandrena did, even when I used two doses. I am on the 50 which supposedly delivers 50 micrograms (0.05mg) a day of estradiol so 20 times less than the 1mg sandrena, however it us considered an equivalent dose. I just can’t get my head around it!
Can anyone explain? ( it’s actually stopping me from sleeping right now which is a PITA!)
Thank you

MayB don't try .......... HRT also depends on how a woman's hormones might be behaving, it's a bit like how long is a piece of string.

I  think that evorel 50 is equivalent to 1mg of Sandrena. I think you can find the info here: https://gpnotebook.com/en-gb/simplepage.cfm?ID=x2022042715724166783#:~:text=Or%20Sandrena%20gel%3A,Oestrogel%20or%2050%20microgram%20patch

I do know that with the gels there is a large amount of wastage built into the calculations. It is a different delivery system so it's like comparing apples with pears

The equivalent to Sandrena 0.5 is Evorel 25mcg, not 50.

The equivalent to Evorel 50 is Sandrena 1mg.

You've doubled your estrogen dose...
