The pollen is very high right  now. You may have hay fever. The eye watering and sneezing are both symptoms.

Yes I do have hayfever, but since the perimenopause it's constant.

Does anyone know that overproduction of histamine is connected with perimenopause?

I hope someone can help because it is just constant whatever the season.unless I take an antihistamine everyday my eyes are streaming.

Are you on HRT? There is a relationship between histamine and estrogen.

Google 'Tina Peers histamine estrogen'. Lots of good interviews on YouTube with her too.

You can also search on this site for 'low histamine diet' - I did one a few weeks ago. It didn't help my symptoms which I think were just due to high estrogen side effects, but it is recommended it you are suffering from histamine intolerance. Along with certain supplements, which Tina Peers recommends.

Low Estrogen can also cause allergies etc, mine all started in peri as my Estrogen has declined.
