Mirena coil and 25 mg evorel

Hi, I’m new here, I had the mirena fitted 2 weeks ago and started evorel 25 mg patch on Sunday just gone and I feel so fed up it’s unreal, my mood has nose dived, I’ve no interest in anything and everything is getting on my nerves, I’m also on my first period since having the mirena fitted…please tell me this terrible mood will lift
is this a normal side effects? I’ve also had terrible head aches, is it just my body adjusting? Has anyone else felt like this when starting the patch and having the mirena fitted? Any reassurance would be greatly welcome

Hi and welcome
I had a Mirena fitted 8 weeks ago and I use a 75 patch.
Of late, my moods are up and down and today I feel just “ meh” .
Not sure at this stage, whether it’s the coil, or lack of Oestrogen.
It’s early days for you yet, give the patch and coil time to settle down.
The body is trying to cope with the new influx of hormones and it can take a while I think.
Best of luck

I had a replacement Mirena fitted 3 weeks today, i felt agitated and low until the beginning of this week. I did up my Oestrogel to 2 pumps from 1 so not sure if that is why i feel better or that the Mirena has settled.
