At Witt's end, was taken off Estraderm which I had been on for 2yrs due to shortage, but cannot tolerate Evorel or Estradot. They both give me either headaches through the night, chronic insomnia, eye pain, neck pain and migraines 😭 cutting 1/4 off this patch hasn't made any difference.

Just checked Boots prescription checker and it still says MX 75 is out of stock 😞

I feel like ripping this Estradot patch off. 😭

It's awful when the body doesn't like medication  >:(

Who is prescribing your HRT?  Could you take it in tablet form?

It's so frustrating CLKD, I've had to take pain killers as headache not going away this morning, I feel so fed up.

It's my GP who prescribed patches. Have history of breast cancer and blood clots in family so patches were the way to go. I've not tried tablets, but I'd be too worried about the added risks.

Risks suggested by your GP who may be looking at very old research?  Ask for a referral to a dedicated menopause clinic.

We have a nurse at the surgery who specialises in menopause, she doesn't offer any blood tests though to check levels, all she did recently for a bout of bladder issues was give me some Estrogel pessaries.

Good news, I just rang my original chemist and they have Estraderm in stock YEY 😊 !!! So happy.

Lilith… so so pleased you have got some of the patches that suit you . Fantastic news. When I spoke to the meno consultant yesterday re Lenzetto supplies she said she thought that supplies would be back to normal by September so hopefully that will also apply to other types of HRT. I rang our local pharmacy today on behalf of a friend and they had quite a big stock of Oestrogel in so it looks as though things are beginning to finally sort out xxx

That's amazing news Pippa52,  let's hope no more shortages.

My migraine has nearly gone after taking that patch off a few hours ago, definitely was them that were causing it, no way can be a coincidence.
