Grouchy/fatigued/all round moodiness!
« on: July 18, 2022, 07:40:44 AM »

Hello lovely ladies, hope you are all well.

So, i am feeling a bit, no - alot fed up today. I started Zoley contraceptive pill 15 days ago now, but on 28th June i contracted Covid. It knocked me out (covid did) along with a very nasty mucus cough.

I have only returned to work today, and as soon as i got up, and in work my mood is just low (as it has been over the last few days) I feel grouchy, tired (even though slept ok) and just wondered if you ladies think it could be the fatigue left from covid causing this bad mood? or the zoley?

Just to note - i did start Zoley last month for 2 weeks and on looking back in my journal, did not feel like this - tired/moody etc.

Its like i just cannot be bothered with anyone or anything......

Vic xx

to add....the reason i stopped Zoley last month was to started the "normal" combined pill (marvelon) but this gave me the jitters, thats why back on Zoley. I had a break in between to allow  a bleed.

Thanks Crispy - so you think it could be the Zoley? Its a very low dose combined pill....

Plus i only got the fatigue with covid...as per my journal ..and i was on day 2 of Marvelon when i got covid....was only on Marvelon for 6 days....then zoley.

How long do they say it takes to balance out hormones? xx

Perhaps not applicable to your situation Vicky but I have been on HRT for about nine months and I reckon I am still seeing improvements. 3-6 months should be long enough to tell for sure whether you are on the right track.
