Progesterone on face
« on: July 17, 2022, 09:52:15 AM »

Hi everyone xx

I was wondering if anyone has tried putting their progesterone on their face? And if so, what results did you get?

I was thinking of trying.

How do you put progesterone on your face?
It’s meant to protect the womb lining and prevent build up?
Can’t see how that would work when on the face?

I wouldn’t if I were you. There have been reports of women getting brown/age spots from putting hormones on their face.

I assume it depends on the type of product you are using. Obviously conventional hrt would not work. But there are creams, designed for the face with progesterone in them. Also some folks use normal prog cream on the face.

What are you using?

I'm currently using onas progesterone cream. I do use on my neck as one of my rotation areas. My cream is full of natural ingredients and vit e and I personally feel it's a cleaner product to apply than many moisturisers. That said, I've no intention of applying to my face.

Thank you CrispyChick x I’m going to order that cream that you suggested now and try xx

CLKD in response to your question; I will try most things if I think that it will benefit me in some way.

I asked the question because I was watching someone on YouTube giving advice on this, and I have to say she looked amazing…. Her skin was perfect ( and she wasn’t young )

Thanks to everyone responding xx I appreciate it xx

What exactly was 'she' using and you trust U-Tube  :-\

I would speak to a Pharmacist about using progesterone for anywhere else than prescribed, certainly not on the face!  Many hand creams are not suitable for facial use, why would progesterone be?

Once a week i'll use my progesterone cream on the face & neck. I've also heard very good reports of how its very helpful against lines & wrinkles. I don't see any harm in giving it a try!
