Achey legs
« on: June 25, 2022, 07:38:59 PM »

I'm new to the site and joined hoping I could get some answers to help me cope with my achey legs. Mainly during the night (when I need to skeep) though I feel them all day. Slowly getting worse and doctor is baffled 🙄

Thanks

Hello Holmes. Welcome to the forum. Aching legs is horrible. Have you ever tried soaking in a bath of epsom salts? Do you think the aching could be related to menopause? It may help to say were you are in menopause and if you are taking any HRT.  :)

I have restless leg syndrome, I am aware of the 'pulling' sensation in the day which is worse at night.  I cured the problem by eating bananas  every day.  Bananas have to be 'right' though  :-\.  I use 'nurofen' at night if I haven't had bananas.

I have been known to lay with legs up the wall at night to ease the 'pulling'.
