Eustachian tube dysfunction
« on: June 25, 2022, 05:18:52 PM »

Have any women suffered from a eustachian tube dysfunction.

Its a narrow tube that connects the inner ear and with menopause it can sometimes become narrowed resulting in ear problems

Thanks x

I’ve had it, but not due to menopause. It was following an ear infection years ago.

I think I mentioned in a thread earlier today that as oestrogen levels drop, muscles may become lax which can affect the Eustachian tube.

Just read the earlier posts CLKD.

Really interesting.

You sounded as though you've been through a lot.

Hope things are looking better for you now xx

Ears fortunately don't buzz all the while.  They do itch, deep down  >:(  ::)
