Feeling worse on Elleste Duet
« on: June 13, 2022, 10:53:28 AM »

Hi there,

I have just started taking Elleste Duet 1mg 2 weeks ago and I have got mouth ulcers, a yukky taste in my mouth, headaches,  flatulence, feeling anxious, tired and basically PMT really bad. I would love to know if anyone else has had these side effects on the Elleste duet and whether or not these go away when the tablets kicked in.

Any help or advice will be really appreciated as I can't eat or drink properly and the next available appointment with my doctor is in 2 weeks' time.

I'm actually thinking of stopping it today.

It could be the norethisterone in the tablet?
I experienced this from the evorel Conti patch, awful side effects.
I didn’t  persevere with the patch in the end, as the pmt feeling was off the scale.

They say persevere for 12 weeks. But really it’s more about what you can bear in terms of side effects.
