I had a swab done and a wee sample sent off to the lab last Tuesday as I was burning and weeing more than usual and wee was a dark cloudy colour and smelled. 
I had period like cramps over the weekend and Monday morning as I was getting ready for work (typical) started bleeding, just like the heavy periods I used to get. Got  test results today, swab normal but I have a UTI and am on co amoxiclav.
Is it ‘normal’ to get periods or a bleed when using Ovestin, like it is for a while when you first go on HRT?
And as the bleed is heavy, is it worth using Ovestin while bleeding or would it be best to wait until it stops and then use Ovestin?

What HRT do you use?
Ovestin shouldn't cause cramps or bleeding.

Your bladder is going a bit awol right now isn’t it? Mine has been too, but thankfully no infection.

How many days ABs have you been prescribed, 5-7 days is often essential rather than 3.  To clear the infection.

If you are bleeding your vagina should be lubricated.  I wouldn't insert 'ovestin' until it became less.

I’m on femoston conti and a 7 day course of antibiotics.

I found FC didnt help my bladder at all.
Maybe you need to increase or change HRT alongside the ovestin?
