Which estrogen patches are you on ?
« on: June 01, 2022, 09:03:25 PM »

Just wondering what patches everyone is on. Do you have a particular favourite and why ?
I was on Estraderm mx75 for 2yrs but it seems to have stopped working, symptoms creeping back. Now had to try Evorel 75 due to shortage, they are smaller, seem to stick better though. Ideally I wanted to try Estradot as heard good things about them 🤔

I have tried Evorel, Estradot and Estraderm. I prefer Evorel. I feel the oestrogen seems to last longer.

Flan747, thankyou, I might have to ask for a higher dose at next hrt review.

Thanks Flossieteacake, I will persevere with these and hopefully I get on ok, but I do think I need to be on the 100 dose now. How long have you been on them ?

I have been on the patches about 2 years now. I am currently using 100 Evorel. I think everybody is different and I have read on here that others prefer different brands. I wonder if you being on 75 for 2 years and them not working as well means you may need 100.

Hi
I was on Estrodot! Stuck brilliantly and stayed on, almost invisible and tiny. Wasn’t absorbing much from them so am trialling Evorel. I’m not keen on size and feels like stiff plastic stuck to skin bit crunchy 😂. However, only on 2 weeks so going to go the distance and get estrogen levels checked after. Early days yet but no flushing so far so something must be going in 👍. Just wish they’d all be like Estrodot for size and sticking.
Good luck! X

I changed from gel to estrodot couple of weeks ago. They stick well and they are small as the others said.

Used to be on estrogel, switched to evorel, now on 50, sticks fine and seems to suit me well. They’re bigger than I expected them to be but stay on well.

Evorel 75. They stick well for me, but don’t appear to be working now!

 Huge sigh 🤦‍♀️

I've tried both estradot 37.5 and evorel 50 and evorel 25
Didn't think I absorbed the estradot well, but liked the patch size
Just swapped over to evorel 50 last month
I've had them years ago and had forgotten how large they were
Seem to be doing the job, sticking well and absorbing well
Originally had a slight rash and discomfort where the patch was sticking, but it seems to be going now

I was on Evorel but they gave me the most horrendous migraines so last week on the advice of a Meno consultant I was swopped onto Estradot which I started yesterday.  Feeling as bit better today but very early days so will wait and see.  Like the very small size of Estradot they are practically invisible!!

Ladies thanks so much for your replies. It's great to know that most of you get on well with Evorel, I'm day 2 on them and feel great.

I do have a HRT review next week so I will mention my symptoms returning and might ask if I can try the 100mg.

For those of you that said Evorel is a big patch, you should see the size of Estraderm patches, they are way bigger 😳
