First Post so hope that I've got this right!
Since January I've  been using evorel 50 patches constantly and taking provera 10mg for the last 14 days of the cycle. I'm bleeding during those last 14 days (for 6 or so days)
I hadn't expected to bleed (periods had previously been very irregular) but having read more about it, this seems to be normal. It's not an issue generally but
the bleeding will fall during a holiday and I'd rather it didn't - is there any way to prevent this?

Hi GloriaG. As well as it’s use in HRT, Provera can also be used to either bring on or delay a period . I expect some short term alteration of the days that you take it will get you the correct result ie no bleed on your holiday. Perhaps have a word with your GP or nurse at your practice and they may be able to advise x
