Hi

I have been on Estrogel for about 2.5 years and I do 2 pumps per day. I was on Ugestron 12 days per month but just switched to everyday.

Anyway a couple of months ago I had an HRT review and my blood pressure was very high. I have had a couple more bp tests and still v high. So I have been put on bp medication.

I never used to have high bp and just wonder if it’s the gel? I have heard that this happened to a few a friends of friends.

I am thinking about asking to switch the Estrogel only patches (I didn’t get on with the combined before).

Anyway, I just wonder if anyone else has experienced similar and switched and bp come down?

Obviously this may be absolutely nothing to do with the gel and might be my age, health, weight, genes etc.
