I am glad you are resting. I had such deep fatigue. I was exhausted all the time and had to stay in bed. I cannot really remember much else as I have some memory problems. I really hope you improve soon.

Hi dear ladies,  had my Estrogen bloods back and they’re 600 on 2mg oral so I’m def absorbing. I have been on this since Dec 20 and I felt great after 8 weeks then got vaccine last day of March 21 and have really struggled -severely at times! Sky high anxiety!
Increasing only made me worse so I’m on 2mg daily again since Jan 22.  I was seeing some light again until covid 7 weeks ago.  Mornings are just cruel my legs are so weak and I’m so low then my mind spirals ‘will I ever be well again?’  I just feel so desperate like I’m clinging to a cliff.
Sorry for long post just needed to get it out and if anyone can give me a little positive word today.
Do I need to change my hrt (Estrogen only) but then my levels are ok!  I’m just lost.  I was attending a specialist Endocrinologist and he said that jab affected the receptors, is this a matter of time?  Ps don’t have thyroid issues I just attended Endo re menopause.  Had a full blood check and only thing low was folate which Iv been taking since.
So so grateful to have this forum, I just wish I was better to help others❤️❤️

Please do not apologise for posting or think you are not helpful to others. This forum is for support and I hope you will always post when you feel able too. I can understand your confusion as your oestrogen seems to be okay. In my experience, the fatigue of long covid can take time to go. I feel like it went on for months with me. I know there are now support groups and apps for people who have long covid. I am not sure if that is something you would find helpful.

I know you want to know when this fatigue will go but I think it is different for everybody. I am sorry that is no help. I would take each day as it comes and try not to think too far ahead.

So sorry to hear you’re feeling so unwell still, it’s awful that these things can go on so long. It seems likely to be your body and hormones settling after covid jab and lots of women have had a similar experience, so I think you can feel confident it is a matter of time and you will feel well again. In the meantime, what tools can you use to help with the anxiety? Even though hormone related there are things we can do. I like meditation and sometimes magnesium can help.

Flossy and ATB thank you so much for your kind replies I so appreciate any bit of advice and support atm.
Flossy I’m not sure but is long covid not when you have had symptoms go on for after 3 months?  I feel it’s stealing my estrogen atm but I’m so praying it let’s go soon🙏🏻🙏🏻 Yes you are right it differs in time for us all, what a abs curse🙄
Are you ok now? What were your symptoms?❤️
ATB you too have lifted me a bit, it’s just hearing others it’s such a comfort.  Re anx if it’s really teaching a head I take a low dose diazepam, deep breath and I listen to meditation.  Hormones are cruel little blighters never mind covid on top!  How are you? ❤️❤️

Yes, hormones are an absolute nightmare sometimes and not fun when you have other illness. I’m hypothyroid also and figuring out what is menopause and what is thyroid is a struggle! I wasn’t on HRT when I got covid but I had long covid and that was affecting my meno symptoms a lot, I just felt floored with my energy and fed up. I had to move location in the middle of the pandemic feeling like that too!
Do you have a supportive partner or family? My husband is my rock and I would be so much worse off without him. I could take time off work and everything. I’m overall massively better after 8 months. My energy is the most improved thing, I was a super fit person and spent 7 years frustrated not being able to be as active so mentally it’s helped so so much being able to get back to that- I think the testosterone helped the most with that. The only things left for me seem to be this GERD type issue which only just recently triggered palpitations during the Utrogestan phase. It’s awful but because I’m stronger overall I am coping ok. I’ve had anxiety for years so that’s my real battle left, and the therapy I have is moving that along really well. I still have my cry days now and then not nowhere near as much. I now believe I will be normal again, whereas before HRT I thought this is it, I’m going to be tired anxious and a waste of space forever! I can get real down like that. But things are looking up. Believe it can happen for you. Take it one day at a time, as Flossie says, and atm each day I get to the end and think about 5 small achievements of my day. When I was more poorly I would include even making the bed as a big deal, something I learnt from a depression campaigner, make your bed if nothing else so every day you achieve something and feel good about it. Little things like that can be helpful.

Long covid can go on for a while. It is one of those things that is different for everybody. I think I have recovered from it. I currently am low on energy but that could be a number of things causing that. I am glad you have diazepam as that is very helpful when feeling anxious.

Virtual hugs back. :)

Gosh I’m so sorry to read your story ATB but also relieved for you in that you are now in a much better place!  It certainly helps me to see there is light even though it can be horrid along the way. It probably didn’t help you not being on hrt when you got covid but you still got there, be proud of yourself❤️
Yes like you my husband is my rock and I count my blessings every single day.  I do a little bit here and there when I’m able.
I did have bc few years back got early🙏🏻 but this hormone hell sure is challenging mentally!!
Flossie really glad you have recovered and I really hope whatever else is not quite right gets sorted for you.
I sent off for a supplement called NAC it was recommended and it reads pretty good!  Also Q10 with ubiquinol is good for energy.  I just take Vit C, D & B with folate, magnesium glycinate plus now NAC.  Rattling not the word😁 💗🥰💗
