Utrogestan and food

Probably a stupid question, I'm about to start using patches and taking utrogestan tablets. The leaflet says to take the utrogestan before bed and on an empty stomach. How long after eating should I wait ? And what about a cup of tea at bedtime?

Hi Crow Lady
No question is stupid
.
I had the exact same thought when I started patches and utrogestan about 6 weeks ago.
I can only say that I take the tablet at the back of 10pm every night and am inclined not to eat anything after 8pm (when I have a cup of tea and nice wee biccy). I've had no problems with doing this.

I was told, I think it’s on my box, take either 1 hour before or 2 hours after meal, evening is best. I’m switching to before evening meal from after it now to see if a couple of little digestive symptoms go and I wake up a bit clearer. I’m not sure about the cup of tea, hopefully someone else can help with that. I don’t like to take anything near caffeine.
