I’m new, help/advice needed!
« on: April 28, 2022, 02:24:59 PM »

Hi everyone and thank you for accepting me into this forum.
I need some advice on hrt/menopause.
I stopped bleeding in February 2020 and didn’t have a period for 14 months. I then, out of the blue, started having regular periods again. Went to gynaecologist for internal and cervix lining etc all fine but suggested I look at hrt. Had a few consultations with hrt nurse and now on evorel 75 patches, just decreased from 100 and 2 progesterone tablets daily, just increased from 1. I’ve put on about 3 stone in weight and my boobs have dramatically increased. My issue is I’m still having regular periods. Another internal scan showed nabothian cysts which I understand no concern over. Hrt nurse suggested these may be bursting and that’s why I’m bleeding.
I’m not sure. I’m getting all the cramping etc of a period.
My question is, am I actually in menopause if I’m now still regularly bleeding? I should say I started having periods after 14 months of nothing and these started shortly having my first covid jag. Can you be in menopause if still regularly bleeding? And if not, should I stop hrt?
Thank you for reading.
