Nas, I have seen this on the internet but it's only for subscribers (GPs and pharmacists, I guess) but maybe you could ask your GP to have a look.

'Treatment with methenamine hippurate was non-inferior to daily antibiotics for prophylaxis of urinary tract infection (UTI) in a recent study, suggesting that the urinary antiseptic may be an appropriate non-antibiotic alternative for women with recurrent UTI.'

Apparently this is in the NICE guidelines now. Hope this helps, sweetie.

The original study https://www.bmj.com/content/376/bmj-2021-0068229 Read the Responses as well, very interesting!

Great info Sage! A step in the right direction at last!
Thank you for sharing. Might be worth putting in on a new thread just in case it’s missed in this thread. X

Vulva clinic sounds great Nas, they’ll hopefully do the right tests and get to the bottom of it. Don’t worry that’s good news, wish that would happen with me!

Sage- I can’t do it either, useless at tech stuff, hopefully someone will help us out xx

And to top it all, my 'bits" have vanished! Everything thin and flat! All thanks to bloody femeston 😣

Im going straight back on my 75 patch. Never had this before femeston. Or bladder issues.

Seriously it’s a mess March  :-\

Now I’ve got to fathom out the progesterone, until my review appointment.
I know 100 utrogestan nightly doesn’t stop bleeding.
Next, to try 200 cyclically I think.

Xx
