Crash with femeston
« on: April 16, 2022, 06:42:54 AM »

Oh my god, things have taken a nose dive since being on femeston 1mg.
I’ve got up in such a rage. I’m about to pack my bags and leave the house!

The bladder is a bloody nightmare, despite ovestin, yes, vagifem, my libido has gone and my skin is dry as the desert!

I only came off the 75  patch due to bleeding.

Tuesday I’m back at work. I have 3 days to sort myself out.
I think I’m going back on that patch until I stabilise.
I don’t even/want to go to work!

Had thought femeston was going to be okay. But in reality each symptom has returned slowly !  :-\

Christ why is it so hard??

I think what’s happened sweet, is that the symptoms have returned slowly over the last 10eeks. The bladder issue just isn’t shifting. My skin and lips are dry as anything and now my moods have gone crazy! So back to square one!
 Options

1. Stick patch on today
2. Take 1.5 oral ( I bought a pill cutter )
3. Suffer

Sorry yesterday was a tough day for you.
I’m hoping and praying the  2mg gets you back to where you were pre vaccine. I’m sure it will. Do you take zumenon by any chance? The ladies on this pill all reported a return of symptoms on the other group, having taken zumenon successfully.

Wishing you a better day today sweet xxxxx

Oh I’m sorry to hear this Nas. Maybe try the 1.5 mg using the pill cutter for a while and see if that improves things.

I’m so sorry Nas to hear you have gradually got worse.  What an awful thing for us women to go through.  Could you perhaps try the 1.5 rather than changing again?  Have you had a virus or anything that would interfere with the estrogen?
Yes I’m on Zumenon, it’s a year since my vaccine, I was finally seeing light then got covid about 3 weeks ago and after a week my mood has worsened! This morning I’m so so low and anxious🥲
Can you perhaps pm me the group please?  Do you mean the Zumenon appears to be affected more? Tk u xx

Ah I misunderstood, I thought you had the VACCINE three weeks ago, my apologies. It was the Menopause support group UK on Facebook, where a few women on zumenon had the covid vaccine and then experienced an increase in symptoms.

Perhaps it’s a bit of long covid which you are experiencing? Are you under a specialist? Could you get in touch with them next week and explain how you have been feeling since getting covid?

I’ve just taken 1.5 mg and hoping for a small miracle! 🤞

Xxx

I’d have picked #2. I REALLY hope this works for you. I’m not sure how long increases take to work, finger’s crossed it’s fast! Xx

I really hope that does the trick Nas🙏🏻Praying you get some relief!
Don’t think it’s long covid as I can be fine then it returns.  My symptoms occurred straight after first vaccine.
I’m only 3 weeks since having Covid so early days.  It’s a minefield.  Think vaccine created an imbalance and then my tablet was increased a lot and then had all the reducing to cope with so that’s prob why it’s taking time.  I’m afraid to change from zumenon as it worked so well until the vaccine.
Let us know how you go with your increase🤞🤞
