Is stomach ache (0r in that  region) due to womb shrinking? or is it just digestive issues?

I don't think there's any pain in that area that is OK. If it doesn't go soon I'd be inclined to see your gp.

At the end of my first year of menopause the stomach aches started in September, by December my Doctor sent me to a dietitian, it was IBS for me. I’m lactose and fructose intolerant. Never had a problem with food in my life, why it would start in menopause I have no idea?

Thanks. That makes sense. Plus I made some bread and decided to eat it hot slathered in butter and have had the most horrendous belly ache since. Should have known better I think!
