I may well buy emergency foil 'space' blankets.  We have two in the camper in case we get cold whilst walking or if DH falls into the lake!  I provided Mum with a couple which are small and store easily, even in a handbag.

These can be utilised should a neighbour fall in the garden: having read of a man waiting hours where he fell until the Ambulance arrived: even though he lived opposite a Hospital !!! go figure !! emergency blankets may be the difference between Life and Death.  Handy too if caught in snow/ice in a traffic queue.
