I also get anxiety when I go away but as soon as we are in the car and leave it eases  :) I’m sure you will be happy you’ve decided to go as soon as you get to that first antique shop and I hope the glorious weather stays for your holiday  :)

I think pre-departure is worse.  The packing and all the things you need to do before you leave.

That's why I pack at least a week B4 we go in case anxiety floors me.  I can pack and go within a couple of hours in an emergency, it's the anticipation that is worse.  I could have gone this afternoon as we are ready - apart from not having booked !

I flipping hate all the packing and organising before we go away. My anxiety gets sky high, then the flight on top. Once we take off tho, I’m not too bad.

Have a great time CLKD. See ya when you get back.  :worm:

I don’t like the packing.  All the putting 100ml or less in a small plastic bag, deciding what to put in the flight bag and what to put in the case.
On the plus side you know you’re almost guaranteed the weather so you don’t need to pack jumpers or coats.

Ah, you'll B flying then.  Can't understand any one wanting to be trapped in a Smartie tube with 100s of other smelly, farty, people  :o

Our plans are cancelled  :-\

DH spent more time in the bathroom in the early hours than desired!  Hotel cancelled, however: camper with our grub is in the garage and I can't open the door in case it wakes him up  ;D

Yes us! From Birmingham Airport. 🙀
If we get to go that is.
Apparently B’ham is just the same as Manchester airport.
They’re all not doing very well, Covid and no staff.
So we’ll see what happens.
I think, the only thing we’ve got going for us is that our flight is very early in the morning. So 🤞🏼

Sorry to hear your plans have been cancelled CLKD.  :'(
Will you move them on?

We were going to see Mum but the home was closed, then DH went down 'with something gastric'.  Next trip is booked for Easter at the same Motel.

Where did U think you were going, all so fast  :o
