Weekly vs. twice weekly patch
« on: March 21, 2022, 05:50:25 PM »

Please, I would like to draw on your experience, ladies. What do you consider better: weekly or twice weekly estradiol patches?

I'm currently using weekly 100 μg patches and it seems to me that one day before and one day after changing, plus the changing day, the estradiol level is lower: I experience hot flashes and palpitations. Is it worth to try the twice weekly ones?

Hopefully other people will reply on this one but I didn’t realise you could get weekly patches. Every patch I’ve been given is twice weekly. It certainly sounds like you’re having a dip on those days and not getting enough estrogen.

Hi the patches are designed to release the same amount of oestrogen every day, so there shouldn’t be any difference x
