Migraine increasing with reduction of everol
« on: March 21, 2022, 12:24:50 PM »

I’ve been on HRT for about 10years and my GP has advised that i change the from Everol 50mg to Everol 25mg
The reason for the change is that there is a family history of breast cancer in my family. My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer approx age 65 yrs and my mum was about 80 yrs.
one of my sisters had tonsiliar cancer.
My grandpa had bowel cancer.
I had genetic screening and I am not significantly more at risk of breast or bowel cancer. I do not have the braca  gene.
My symptoms have been well controlled with Everol 50mg
I have migraines and take topiramate twice daily and amitriptyline
I also have RLS and to pramiprexole
The migraines are back with a vengeance!
And this latest one started in the early hours of Saturday morning and is going strong still.
Has anyone got any advice or suggestions or alternatives?
Im waiting for my GP to get back to me with a plan
Many thanks

Hi if 50mg patch suits you then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t stay on that. X
