Had a period and now 2 weeks later I have spotting this morning

Took me by surprise and completely freaked me out to the point of crying 😢

Is this another period about to start, ovulation spotting (which I never have) or something else

My periods are anywhere between 19-27 days apart at the moment. A lot of the time I do have anything from 2 to 5 days spotting before a period actually starts, so I suppose it could be another one on its way

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I had started HRT but have now had to stop due to a skin reaction 🙄

I have health anxiety and have already convinced myself it’s something serious

Trying to cam myself down at the moment and tell myself it’s just al hormones xx

Take some deep breaths. When starting and stopping HRT people can bleed as their body is all over the place. Please do not panic. I am sorry you had to stop HRT due to your skin reacting. I have been thinking of you and wondering how you were getting on.

Health anxiety is so distressing. I can totally understand why you feel down. Do you feel comfortable enough to talk to your GP? I wondered if it would help to reassure you.

Flossieteacake it’s exhausting sometimes. I have another appointment with my GP on 1st April so I will talk to her about things then xx

I’m hoping I’ll be okay waiting until then. That’s the next available appointment with her unfortunately. I will try and kee myself busy until then xx

Glad you are doing okay so far. Maybe it might help the downstairs when you’ve been on it for a while as well as what you are already doing.

I know, I long for the person I used to be
