Hi Kentlady, I have been taking T for so long - since 2015 - that I've almost forgotten what my symptoms were before I started. The main one of course was total lack of libido and absent response - the latter which completely returned a few months after starting T. The other thing I remember was that I used to feel totally exhausted after exercise like digging the garden and muscle aches. Of course I get this now probably because I'm 70 but not that all encompassing fatigue I used to experience.
Just don't be tempted to increase the dose if you don't get immediate results because the gynae I saw said that some changes take 4-5 months. Also most of the products available now prescribed for women are higher in cocentration ie Tostran, or Testogel so only a tiny amount is needed.
I started a thread in Private Lives called "Testosterone Here We Go" when I was first prescribed it, which I will bump for you. Although it hasn't been posted in much recently, there might be something in there that helps.
As for personality - without knowing you at all, I would suggest that your personality is returning to what it should be before menopausal and other hormonal changes occurred!
What HRT are you on?
