Testogel

Hi.
I am noticing a white crust on occasions around the edges of where my Testogel would have been applied? Does this mean it's not absorbed or just not applied correctly? There seem conflicting views on whether to smear on or rub in? 🤔

Don't worry about the crust. While the gel is wet the testosterone is being absorbed and as far as I understand once it dries, that's it. Some gels are rubbed some are spread. The Besins gels are designed to be spread and gels like Testim and Sandrena, rubbed - this is due to the different fillers. If you read the official spc for testogel it says this: "The gel has just to be simply spread on the skin gently as a thin layer. It is not necessary to rub it on the skin. Allow drying for at least 3-5 minutes before dressing. "  Some women also try rubbing in the gel but because it is more watery this doesn't necessarily work so well.
