Russia is such a rogue state but the people in Ukraine are used to this behaviour from them and are getting on with their lives as normal, they have seen it all before!
We can live in hope that Vlad will pick up his toys and put them back in his pram  ::)

I'm not holding my breath.  Most countries know that the UK doesn't have man nor military power to face an 'event'.  Our Troops in Afghanastan were without proper kit all the way through ....... despite the government of the day being aware.  Some requested that parents send boots, good underwear, thick socks etc. because the kit issued wasn't good enough.

All the papers at the weekend were in agreement: that Putin will move in to call the bluff of Europe.  We can't sit back and think 'seen it all B4'.  That's one of the problems during the early 1930s, it won't happen because  :'(

KitKat price expected to rise  :o (Nestle)

Sales of Durex condoms, KY lubricants and Veet hair removal products were boosted as lockdowns were lifted.
The firm added sales of US cleaning and disinfecting spray Lysol were about 90% higher than 2019.

It said it expected its health business to benefit from stronger cold and flu treatment sales.

Last week, Unilever, the firm behind brands such as Marmite and Dove Soap, said it would put up its prices again this year as its overheads continue to rise.
The company, which also makes Ben & Jerry's ice cream and Hellmann's mayonnaise, said it was facing €3.5bn (£2.95bn) of extra costs in 2022 alone.

The reason KitKat is not allowed in the house, don't want to risk having a senior moment  :o
