Anyone help me?

I put testim on my shoulders everyday or on my upper outer thigh and it takes a good while to seem dry...its like it stays ",tacky" when I gently put my finger on it?, even though its been on my skin for like 40 minutes...does this mean I'm not absorbing it??

Unfortunately Testim is like this. I used it for a while when there were shortsges and couldn't get Testogel. I think it changed its formulation though because they stopped manufacturing it and another company took over the production - but sounds like it is still as sticky. Apart from the stickiness I didn't notice any difference in effect though.

Also I wouldn't put it on your shoulders - but somewhere away from breast and genitals - so personally I used to use inner knee. Now I used sole of foot ( instep) - rather than upper thigh -only because of the hairy problem.

In terms of absorption - when gel (Testogel, estrogel) dries it doesn't mean it's all been absorbed. The gel acts as a carrier to transport the hormone into the skin - most of the gel is alcohol and once it has evaporated then no more hormone can enter the skin. It isn't all absorbed. Theoretically if it take longer to dry then maybe more is absorbed but I used to get fed up of waiting and get dressed which means it probably ended up rubbing off on my clothes!
