Starting HRT

Been to the doctor today as I've been suffering with perimenopause symptoms I think.. I have been prescribed evorel sequi patches really scared about starting them also I wasn't told clearly when to begin .. I'm 49 and have mood swings and very down also sleep problems aches and pains just a few of the symptoms.. can anybody give me any advice and tell me of there experience .. this is my first post so don't know if it's in the correct place

Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use to chart progress.  Is there any info in the leaflet in the box?  If not, mayB ring the pharmacist tomorrow and ask?

Hopefully someone who takes this regime will be along.

Thank you.. just waiting to pick them up tomorrow as they were out of stock .. Will look at information leaflet.. and I think I will start a diary to record everything.. :)

Hello Rach. Welcome to the forum. I find HRT patches mean less side effects for me. Everybody is different and hopefully any side effects you have will settle down quickly.  :)
