Hello 👋

I've been getting on well since starting Vagifem in October and am so thankful to the lovely nurse practitioner who suggested it.

I got another prescription just before New Year but have been given Vagirux this time - not sure why.

I'm sure it will be fine but wondered if anyone has had any issues using Vagirux?

I would ring the prescribing chemist to find out, I've bumped a thread from 2021.

Same thing. Just one applicator though. Better for environment. Feel same on it

I was first prescribed vagifem a couple of months ago and got on really well with it. I liked the hygienic way of using one applicator then disposing of it.

At Christmas I was given vagirux, and although I didn’t like the thought of having to use the same applicator for a few months, I have to say that I haven’t really had any issues with it.

I’m due for another prescription and I hope they give me vagifem just because I like the convenience of single applicators.

But to be honest, even if they gave me vagirux I wouldn’t be too bothered.

The applicator in vagirux is a bit fiddly, but you get used to it after a few tries!

I've been given both types switching from one to another depending on what the chemist has available. Hasn't done me any harm thankfully. Last box of vagirux had 2 applicators.

Just picked up my new prescription and the chemist has given me vagirux 

I was told I would have to contact my doctor to change my prescription.

It’s so frustrating paying for something you don’t want. It’s not like you can get a refund!

Sometimes I’m given vagifem, sometimes vagirux.  I find it easier just to insert the vagirux with my finger rather than bother with the applicator.  I’ve not had any problems with it.
