Heavy bleeding after internal scan
« on: December 18, 2021, 05:41:29 PM »

I had an internal scan on Tuesday, and also a biopsy of something suspicious on my cervix. The scan was because of a heavy period I had back in July whilst on HRT ( I’m now 3 years since last , natural, period) I’ve had a few days of spotting, which was expected after the biopsy, but today the bleeding is much heavier.
Can all the messing cause a period? I don’t really understand what’s going on?

Just wanted to send you some virtual support and good wishes Suzy.

It might  be that the scan has triggered the bleed.
I would be ringing the gynecologist tomorrow for peace of mind?
Could the bleed be anything to do with your cervix?
Have you been bleeding generally whilst on HRT?

I’m also plagued with gynae issues since starting HRT. It’s becoming more bother than its worth being on the stuff ,

Thanks Nas.
I’m not on HRT anymore, so it’s not that.
It’s been better today… I think it was where the biopsy was taken, must have agrivated  it somehow.

I will ring the dr in any case tomorrow, just for peace of mind… but I think all is ok, and it was just a blip.
