Resurgence of hot flushes since starting HRT

I have recently started the combined HRT  patches as I was feeling tired, wasnt sleeping well and have joint aches and pains. I am 57 and stopped having hot flushes ( esp in bed) about a year ago. I am now experiencing hot flushes again.  Do I need a stronger dose of patch?
