Stomach Cramping
« on: November 24, 2021, 09:34:29 AM »

Hi
Me again!!

Sorry to keep asking things! However so many symptoms I just needing constant reassurance.

For the last few weeks, despite my bladder calming down as regards to needing a wee (only go 5/6 times a day), I've had a persistent crampy type ache in my abdomen- almost like a period pain.
Is this normal?
Could it be due to VA symptoms- constantly on my mind.
Nothing suspicious has shown up on abdominal scan.

It might be a pelvic floor issue, hypertonic perhaps. And yes, could be due to the VA symptoms being on your mind and causing you to tense up. A pelvic floor/ women's  health physiotherapist could help.

Thank you - it's a strange achy feeling that actually lessens if I'm on the move and is worse at night.

I know it's nothing serious but would love to be able to stop it completely

Thankyou!
I will write all my symptoms down. I had a long list when I spoke to Urology on the phone!
It's a weird feeling that subsides slightly when I'm out and about and is worse when lying down, especially in bed at night
Not too worried as had so many scans, probes etc with nothing sinister uncovered apart from 2 very small fibroids.
Will let everyone know when I get my face to face appointment
