Is there anyone here that’s post menopausal and who suffers from the symptoms of pmdd?

Hello,

I am postmenopausal, as I haven't had a bleed since February 2020.

I am not too sure about PPMD but during my reproductive years I always had moments of moderate anxiety & low mood with crying spells.  I'm not sure if this will change becsuse it's still  happening now, despite me not being perimenopausal anymore.  I am not sure how long this is going to go on for and if my hormones will eventually reach an even keel.  I don't suffer from depression nor do I have a thyroid disorder.  Thyroid problems can cause anxiety or low mood.

As for PPMD, I think it's a form of premenstrual stress but it's a more severe form and usually happens during a woman's reproductive years.  I am not sure if it can continue into the menopause.

What symptoms do you have?  Do you know where you are on your menopause journey?

Are you on HRT?  I am not on it but I take food supplements instead.

Take care

I had PMDD but it seems to be gone now that I’m menopausal and have my HRT routine settled.
