After taking ustrogen for 10 days I found it worsened my uti symptoms. I got an appointment with the pharmacist at my gp surgery. She spoke to a gp and said I can take Cyclogest. However, another gp cancelled this and said it is not appropriate. I am taking evorel patches too.
I am confused by this. I was on only evorel for 9 months until another gp said I must be given progersterone too. I find it odd how this has just been cancelled. I had to call up and now have an appointment next week. The doctor who cancelled is clueless about perimenopause and refused to believe I had it due to being 38.
